Sonya T. Cruel is a native of Augusta, GA. Since completion of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Sonya has committed her life to serving families and changing communities. She is also a certified life coach focusing on the sphere of transition. The author of Divorce in the Upper Room and Transition: From then to Now to Next, Sonya is a conqueror leading the path to mental, physical and spiritual wellness for women. Her life’s experiences and spiritual acumen make her the perfect catalyst for helping others navigate life’s journey. Sonya’s strengths include teaching and administration.
Sonya’s professional experiences include nearly 30 years of hospital program administration and grant-writing. She’s led programs in the areas of oncology and post-partum support. Other areas of her focus include crisis prevention and management. Sonya recently transferred her skills to work within the public education system.
With a strong desire to see the Kingdom of God manifested here on earth, Sonya is an ordained elder passionate about seeing God's people healed in every area of their lives. Her faithful service to the Body of Christ includes teaching on subjects such as praise & worship, prayer & prophetic, healing, forgiveness, church government and a myriad of other subjects. Her personal encounters with challenges including loss, depression and breast cancer make her a specialist in the area of faith. Sonya willingly utilizes her gifts of teaching, organization and administration to deliver God’s Word.
Sonya currently resides in Snellville, GA. Her interests include reading, traveling and exploring new dining experiences.
